"Despite it being described as a "hostel" it is not a hostel in the UK/US fashion. It is MUCH better. You are staying with a family. Who are great! "The Havana Dream is a great place to stay in Old Havana. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious with add on extras such as toiletries bathrobes safe fridge etc. The Manager Beatrice and all the staff were so hospitable and responded quickly to anything i needed during my stay. Do take the breakfast there, its served at a big dining table in the lounge and is delicious. Cant thank the staff enough for a wonderful stay. Oh and its only a five minute walk to the Central park square....

"Our stay in Cuba was made memorable with the help of the owner, Ma. Teresa and her property Manager, Mirelis. They made sure that we have what we needed. Ma. Teresa booked for us a tour guide and a convertible and Mirelis helped us book a taxi and introduced us to a money changer who came to the apartment and exchange our $ to CUP! The apartment is very accessible to plaza Vieja and PLaza San Francisco and its a walking distance to almost all of the importanat sights.. We were never hungry...

"Lovely hot shower and the only place I stayed that didn't experience a power cut! So the air-conditioning worked and the room was nice and cool. The owner looked after my case and let me wait in reception for a couple of hours for my taxi to the airport. Only downside was rather a lot of mosquitoes and midges in the room, but they were everywhere in Cuba. I got bitten when I don't normally and ran out of spray (so bring plenty)."
