The staff is great, everyone's English is excellent, rooms were comfortable and clean. However it's located oddly enough in a neighborhood that looks like a war zone but is two blocks away from one of the best restaurants in town.

Extraordinary! Just one night and from the moment I arrived, the staff was first class. They offered me early check in at no additional cost, including a super upgrade to one of their best rooms, the Master Suit, which was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with a balcony where you can see a small part of Havana. I am very grateful for everything and I hope to return soon, thank you very much!

Absolut hochwertiges Hotel, Personal und Sauberkeit erstklassig!! Super freundlich und aufmerksam, tadellose Sauberkeit, reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstück. Mi estadía en Alhabana fue estupenda, los muchachos de recepción eran los mejores, dándonos consejos y ayudandonos a mi y a mis padres que también se hospedaron en el hotel, si necesitábamos un taxi ellos nos los gestionaban y al mejor precio posible, el desayuno se realizaba en la azotea y los chefs muy atentos a cualquier duda que tuvieramos, incluso un día invítanos a desayunar a mi hermano, su pareja y mi sobrino que no estaban hospedando con nosotros en Alhabana, la limpieza de la habitación fue excelente. The property is well maintained inside. Nice bar area adjoining the lobby & there is a lovely rooftop terrace but one must be able to climb stairs. The reception staff all speak adequate English and are very friendly and helpful. The two cooks (Wilfredo & Yoenky) are excellent, very attentive, & will prepare available items however you like. The manager, Alberto, is a very interesting man, with whom we enjoyed spending time. The only downside is odiferous streets in most of Havana, which is out of their control. The government's method of garbage collection is, unfortunately, wholly inadequate. The property is conveniently located only 7 blocks from the historic district where the Capitolio and the Plaza de la Revolución are located, an easy walk.

My first time in Cuba and with only two nights, I felt at home. Since my arrival with the attention of the reception staff Mariem I received an incredible early check in and a great free upgrade to one of their best rooms, the Junior Suit, super comfortable and spacious. I really enjoyed breakfast, mainly the coffee and the egg, and the chefs were attentive to everything I asked for. I can't leave aside the cleaning staff who always received the room like the first time. Thank you all! I hope to return soon!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alhabana. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, ensuring a very comfortable experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any needs. I was particularly grateful for the free early check-in, which allowed me to settle in and start exploring Havana right away. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of delicious options. The hotel is also conveniently located very close to Old Havana and the historic center, making it easy to explore the city’s rich history and culture. It has to be the best in Havana
That was the first place where I took refuge when I reached Havana and I am happy I chose this place. Best staff always ready to help you and the way they conducted business. Rooms are comfortable, very affordable rents, and they provide solution to everything.Location is very central at less than 10 min walk to China Town. It was the first place I stayed at on arrival to Cuba and the last one too. I have heaps of praises for every staff member who works at Alhabana. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Havana.

The best vacation!!
The best vacation!!, my first time and it was incredible, everyone's attention never lacked from the cleaning staff who, thanks to them, received my room every day as if it were the first time and the breakfast was very delicious, I tried new things like guava although it was not something very sweet for me. An unforgettable experience. We will return again!
