"This villa was an absolutely stunning stay. The view of the lake and volcanoes even from the outdoor bathroom were incredible. The villa would get sauna hot in the afternoon sun, with just a standing fan to fight the heat. So we would leave the villa at this time. The hike up to the villa is no joke. "Do not book here. Literally no customer service. Signs are not clear on where the hotel is. The beds are the most uncomfortable beds ever. You’re better off sleeping in a hostel for cheaper. There’s two night clubs that blast music all night; which is what was expected. But the clubs were super lame overall. You’re pretty much in a room with a double bed and that’s all to it. "The place is very nice. Built with natural materials - stone/wood/ceramic/metal - it has a nice feeling. It's clean, and the location is great - there are a lot of trees on the lot, so constant birdsong. It's away from the road, so very tranquil. It's easy to get into town by walking or tuc tuc - you can walk along the lake to the Santiago dock, then you have to take the streets. It's a couple of hundred feet from the lake.
