The villa would get sauna hot in the afternoon sun, with just a standing fan to fight the heat. So we would leave the villa at this time. The hike up to the villa is no joke. "Do not book here. Literally no customer service. Signs are not clear on where the hotel is. The beds are the most uncomfortable beds ever. You’re better off sleeping in a hostel for cheaper. There’s two night clubs that blast music all night; which is what was expected. But the clubs were super lame overall. You’re pretty much in a room with a double bed and that’s all to it. "The place is very nice. Built with natural materials - stone/wood/ceramic/metal - it has a nice feeling. It's clean, and the location is great - there are a lot of trees on the lot, so constant birdsong. It's away from the road, so very tranquil. It's easy to get into town by walking or tuc tuc - you can walk along the lake to the Santiago dock, then you have to take the streets. It's a couple of hundred feet from the lake. "The mark of a good rental in my opinion is whether you would rent it again and l will! I loved the design and feel of this house. Above the living quarters was a nice deck with a great view and nice area for meditation and yoga. The bed and pillows were nice comfortable and clean.
