" The Argo Inn is a really cute, quaint, mountain town motel. Check in was quick and easy and the man working the front desk was very kind and in good spirits (sometimes rare to see!) Easy parking all around. We stayed on the second floor, right by the stairs. The room was warm and clean, although the smell of food kind of lingered. Not horribly, but it was there, maybe from one of our neighbors. We had our own patio, which was awesome! Bed was clean and very comfortable- I’d request more pillows though! Haha Bathroom came with a simple shower / bath combo. This is about 20~ minutes from Blackhawk / Central City where we went to the casinos! Overall, we had a great experience! I was pleasantly surprised, and loved the safe energy here from check in to check out! "

"Traveling back home from a long Christmas week and needed a place after a long drive. They were all so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Same can be said with the checkout folks as well. Beautiful view of the lake, nice big rooms and a brewery with geat food right next door. We will staying here anytime we travel through that area. "
