"My only gripe is that the drink situation in the buffet area. You have to find a server to get you a Pepsi. They have drink machines but keep them covered. Why? The food is self-service."

"Nice calm resort. Some families, but mostly older and more mature people. The waterpark is great for kids. The restaurants are OK, and have good diversity. Beach is a short walk from the hotel, but when the winds are high, it is not possible to swim. Area around the hotel is somewhat sparse. Very nice rooms and facilities! "

What stood out for us was the friendliness of all staff, the cleanliness of the whole place, the maintenance of the grounds and the quality of the food. "We did enjoy our stay very much. The rooms were big enough for 4 people and quiet as well as clean. Very responsive service. The pool area though is too small - most beds were always taken and the water is very warm. There is no private beach nearby as mentioned in the property information. The property/rooms are a little dated too, especially the bathrooms. We would still come back as we enjoyed the great ocean view and the quietness of the rooms. "

"The hotel was very clean, and all the staff were 1st class, even up to the manager, who takes time to ask guests if there are any problems. The only problem we had was the booking of the specialist restaurants, you were expected to book them via an app, this didn't work, had to argue with reception about booking a meal, after only being 9.30 & 10.00pm, not ideal when you are 75 yrs old, but after speaking to the concierge, who was very helpful and got us earlier times, it is not a problem you need when you arrive on holiday. Hopefully this problem will be sorted out and add to the good hotel / holiday experience "
