"I’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property is spacious and well furnished with a really nice pool. I would really recommend having a car while you are there. The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away. The village of Gerani which is walkable is vibrant with nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a bakery plus a couple of supermarkets which were well stocked. Rethymno town which is fully of...

"The host was lovely and arranged our transfers and provided a cot and highchair. On arrival we found a bowl of fruit, a bottle of wine, olive oil & Raki. The Villa was very clean and well equipped. Beautiful outlook, close to shops and the beach, lovely pool although a little cold for the baby and no facility to have it heated. "

"We had a fabulous holiday at Villa Lambros. The house itself is beautiful, really well equipped, very clean. It’s about 20 mins drive from the coast road, easy to get into Rethymno and an exciting drive over the hills to Plakias. There is a little shop in the village 1km away and a handful of excellent tavernas within 30 mins drive for great food. The property is managed by Etouri who were really helpful. They answered my queries promptly and offered lots of advice. We would recommend this...

"We can’t thank George and his mother enough for making our stay in Crete more perfect. It is a beautiful villa, tranquil and relaxing and perfectly situated for exploring Crete. There are stores, bakeries and restaurants within easy walking distance. We chose to have George’s mother cook us dinner on our last night and it was amazing . "Our stay got off to a rocky start with our group arriving at 4:00 but not being able to check in until 5:30 as the property was still being cleaned/replenished from the previous guests. The owner advised us that 2 of 5 cleaners had not shown up. The 1 1/2 hour checkin process was filled with the owner instructing us condescendingly not to do this, that etc., including not to mix up glasses, cutlery from one unit to the other. "We all had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces of this villa are beautiful beyond words. The owners of the home were very nice and welcoming! Katrina even gifted us a few of her pictures which she painted. There are three tavernas within walking distance. They were also awesome! We definitely recommend this experience! Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"This location and house was the perfect getaway we were looking for. The pool needed a little work but overall it was the highlight of the trip. We were able to walk out and enjoy the sounds of Greece. It is only about 10 minutes from the little town that supplied plenty of local treasures, grocery store, beaches and most important amazing ice cream stand. Alex, the host was available at anytime. We are looking forward to coming back next year!"

"The property has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. We arrived late and the process of contacting the owner for keys was flawless with arrangements made beforehand. The owner had suplied us with an essentials bundle. Everything about the villa and communication with the owner was exceptional. The pool was large and maintained daily.
