"Brilliant location. Lovely views, great apartment. One small thing, the light bulbs are a very white stark bright light,it would be nicer with a warmer bulb as it felt too bright and corporate. But the whole apartment is great x lots of room. The hotel room service was excellent. Really helpful and friendly "

"Our 2nd stop on this trip to Greece, was Almyrida at Villa Varvara. Outstanding clean private local and accessible. We found it to be a great base for exploring the west side of Crete. the local shops and eateries near the property were just what we wanted small local excellent fare. Walking distance down to beach chairs and the ocean.The views from ALL the balconies of the property are breathtaking. We tried to spend a night on each one and found the back balcony looking at the mountains to be our favorite. Excellent bedding and water pressure for baths and shower. PRIVATE!! we loved the kitties that came to visit. GREAT communication and direction from the Hosts. FULL KITCHEN made some dinners at home was great. The pool had ample chairs and outside amenities. We recommend that you choose a car that is small to mid compact in order to park on the private driveway. We rec host describe this in listing if you came in a jeep it would not work.Easy access with getting into the property. We would rebook here. We were only two in the house so one full bath worked out. The 2nd 1/2 bath is not he first floor and makes for good access. Come to Alymrida and stay at Villa Varvara. "

"The villa is in a perfect location and a hire car is not necessary. A ten minute walk to a safe sandy beach lined with many local tavernas. The villa has its own pool and barbeque area with exceptional views to the mountains in the distance. Well appointed accessories including beach towels and a weekly change of bedding etc. A local taxi service is readily available for those who wish to visit further afield. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location. David."

"Perfect! The Hotel is well maintained, spotlessly clean with warm friendly service. All rooms overlook the beach and Almyrida bay. Bed and Breakfast, with breakfast served at Almyrida Beach hotel (200m walk). Great choice of food and beverage of a high quality and friendly service (staff brilliant with our kids). You also have access to all facilities at Almyrida studios, beach and residences during stay including pools and bars. Location is footsteps from the beach with crystal clear water and Sandy beach with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas (€15 a day for two). Temperature of water is warm so a good substitute for the pool (also good for young kids as not deep). Multiple places to eat and drink throughout day and night (lots of great restaurants for night and beach bars/cafes during day), with all facilities decorated to high standard and clean. Also a few supermarkets and shops to cater for all your needs. We rented a car (Centauro - was really good, organised, efficient and friendly service with free shuttle to and from airport). We went to a water park in limnoupolis which was very good (30 mins), explored Chania Town with its Venetian harbour, which was spectacular (25 Mins) and visited Rethymno (45 mins) which was again very nice with Venetian harbour. The rest of the time we relaxed on beach/by the pool. A great family holiday, we will be back"

"Had a lovely time at coconut studio , very clean cute apartment , lovely sized pool , comfy sun beds, very close the beach down lots of steps Roxane was very polite and helpful , on arrival there was a very well appreciated food hamper and wine ☺️ Beautiful view from main bedroom window , highly recommend and would come again , lots of restaurants all within walking distance Thank you x "
