The hotel is located right in the middle of old town with lots of shopping and dining options available around every corner. There was breakfast every morning included which was essentially a continental breakfast but they also made eggs to order. We hated to leave! "

From start to finish there was not one issue, got upgraded to a suite, stunning room immaculate views amazing location, breakfast was incredible and the staff had character and charm. I'll happily book this place when I next come to rethymno. We arrived very late at night and we were very welcomed at the reception of Fortezza Hotel and our room with the view of the hotel swimming pool and the garden was wonderful. Breakfast was great and all the staff so helpful and very nice. Next time we will definitely stay longer there."
