"We are a family of five me and husband, our brother and 2 20 year old kids. Priority is exactly as described. We mostly used the outdoors other than when sleeping. We enjoyed staying in rethaymo area. Visited Damion beach, chania, and spent our last night in Heraklion to catch morning ferry. Location gave us ability to go to lots of places in rental car. Pool is great. Host arranged for takeaway dinner to meet us when we arrived which was so helpful after a long day of traveling."

"Marina was a great host and villa Metochi was a great setting for our holiday. The villa itself was great with all you need and the views were stunning! The pool and BBQ areas are amazing and the hammock under the tree was a real treat on the hot afternoons. The star of the show is the resident dog, Ermis. He is such a well behaved dog and so looked after. He really made our stay homely and welcomed us back every evening. We highly recommend it and would definitely come back!"

"Nice calm resort. Some families, but mostly older and more mature people. The waterpark is great for kids. The restaurants are OK, and have good diversity. Beach is a short walk from the hotel, but when the winds are high, it is not possible to swim. Area around the hotel is somewhat sparse. Very nice rooms and facilities! "
