"Staff were really friendly and helpful. Asked for some takeaway to be heated up; they ended up sending a microwave to our room which was useful. Location was near the free tram stop. Had a good view overlooking the park. It's a pity they are closing the hotel!"

"The hotel is in a need for renovation. The bathrooms are way too old. We visited the hotel also about 7 years ago and it’s aging quickly. It’s conveniently located within a walking distance to the grounds of Australian Open tennis tournament (the reason for our staying there), but for the next visit to Melbourne we will select a different hotel."
