"We loved the rooms, the service and the location! My only complaints would be that the buffet food is fairly cold - it was rare to eat a hot/warm meal. You literally had to try and grab from the back of the tray as everything mid to front was cold. The pool is pretty dang cold as well. The resort is exceptionally clean. "

"I was upgraded to the Mykonos suite shortly after arrival. A beautiful ocean front/ocean view room on the 7th floor. The views were breathtaking. The lush vegetation all around the perfectly manicured landscape was very calming and beautiful. The lobby is open and airy. The staff were very polite, accommodating and helpful. The pool area was beautiful. There was plenty of seating on the beach with impressive beach access! The bar was on point. Walkable to many shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this property. This was my first trip to Mexico and Gaviana was perfect!! I can't wait to come back! "
