We enjoyed our recent stay at Riu, staff were great to deal with, food was great. I know it says the drinks in the room are restocked every 2 days, but had to request water bottles because no one re stocked the fridge.

The rooms were not great, hard bed and uncomfortable chairs. Needs to be updated. The food was good, the entertainment and activities were quite good. Staff were excellent and really did their best to make your stay go well. I really appreciate that they don’t let people reserve lounge chairs.

The trip was very nice the server they were all excellent. Customer service they were very helpful . The only one things I didn’t like it wasn’t enough camera around the pools area specially they were zero cameras closer to the beach.

Not all restaurants were open and it was not convenient to book a reservation in the Italian restaurant. Also, the beach loungers were extremely uncomfortable. I would think they could invest in something better, as the resort is promoted as a 5 star.

For the past 15 years that I’ve been traveling I’ve always stayed at RIU chain hotels and this was the first time i experienced an unpleasant stay. Our room was not clean when we arrived, there were still drinks and food from previous occupants. Our contactless key cards were the worse. Every time we tried to enter our room it was disprogram. We were in the 8th floor and it was an inconvenience to go down and then back up ( this happened every single day of our stay) the hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Management should look into this.

Great place. especially for kids and family. My niece and nephew loved it. And the beach is also safe for them. Beautiful, long stretch of sand and lots of room. Expected coffee to be better. And the rooms are quite basic with no conditioner, lotion, etc. just shampoo.

I have stayed at many RIU locations over the past few years and booked this location based on such favorable past experiences. Unfortunately, my wife and I were extremely disappointed in the following areas. (1) No one came to help us take our bags from the taxi inside. The porter just pointed to the door and told us to put our luggage inside on the left. (2) The bed was the most uncomfortable that we have ever had. We both woke up with backaches daily. (3) The shower had bold growing on the ceiling. I took the liberty to take pictures. The ventilation in the bathroom was non-existent. (4) Someone was allowed to smoke on the balcony next to our room. We called the front desk but nothing was done to resolve the situation. Good News... The staff was very helpful and supportive in the dining room and front desk. Entertainment was great as always. Pools were sparkling clean and never crowded. The food was very very good. Just wish we had a cleaner room.
