"Friendly owner on site who showed us all the plants on his property. Allowed our kids to squeeze sugar cane and make cane juice one morning. Clean and easy property. "

"House is just as described. House was clean and close to nearby attractions. We enjoyed our stay. The house could use more items for cooking such as measuring tools and storage for leftovers. Also, the floors are gorgeous but very slippery, especially the stairs. The beds are a bit uncomfortable. Daniella was very helpful and responsive to questions. We didn’t use her services to book tours due to being on a budget."

"Loved the cabin and the setting. Clean and comfortable with amazing forest views. Getting checked in was a bit of a process. Have to call a property manager who drives out to the cabin to let you in. We arrived at check in time and waited almost an hour to be let into the cabin. Call well ahead of arrival time. Otherwise a good stay and a great value."

"The house was everything you needed; cozy, quaint, stunning views, gorgeous landscaping and privacy. It accommodated everything we needed, which was surprising because we failed to realize there was no central air, and we have a ln 11 month old, but the area we were in stayed relatively cool, and even better at night (nice & cool) and they provided multiple fans to circulate the air. "This condo is just as advertised. It is in a beautiful spot with a view of Arenal volcano from the bedroom and a forest view from other rooms. There are windows everywhere but no other houses close enough that they could see into the unit. The air conditioner works well. It is not a newly renovated condo but was clean and comfortable. We didn't find it on the first try but the host was very responsive and helpful and got us there quickly."

"We had an amazing time at La JayDa for the second part of our Costa Rican experience. This house and grounds are beautiful and enchanting. So much so that is was hard to leave for our excursions!! Enjoy the pool and the beauty of the grounds and the comfort of the bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. We took all of our meals outside with many wildlife visitors including monkies, a sloth and wonderful birds. I can not recommend coming to Costa Rica more and when you do definetly stay at La JayDa!!"

"Lovely setting but on site owner(?) spoke no English only a child did, so difficult to check in and get things settled. No A/c or heat and it was at first hot then very cold later. Hard to sleep in the cold. No screens on windows or sliding doors. Futons to sleep on were dirty and smelly. Kitchen had very few items to make even coffee and breakfast. Would not recommend. Pretty far from Monteverde Biological Park. You can do better."

"Perfect cabin with wildlife all around you! The cabin was immaculate! The kitchen has everything you need, we went to the grocery store (5 mins walk from the cabin) bought food. Everything we did was a short drive from the cabin, Selvatura park, El Tigre waterfalls, and local Sodas. Miguel is very helpful anytime I called or texted- he answered immediately."
