"Loved our private cottage, including the outdoor shower. Staff were wonderful. Proximity to waterfalls and sulfur springs/ mud baths was great. The hike up to our cottage was steep. Food quality was generally good (fried fish and lobster/shrimp dishes were a miss). Singer one night was excellent. The pools need to be maintained (we weren’t comfortable using them), and the old faded books at the pool should be discarded and a new rack with doors installed. "Coconut Bay was the perfect family vacation. My wife and I brought our 12yr old son along for a week away from the frigid New England weather. It truly is paradise! The food is probably the best I have had at an all inclusive resort. The staff is friendly and cheerful and goes above and beyond to make your stay an incredible experience! We relaxed most of the time but there are plenty of activities and excursions for all types of travelers. This was our first trip to Coconut Bay but we are planning to go again! "

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have picked a better place! Our room and the view from it was amazing, and the staff made us feel like royalty. The amenities are excellent here especially the hike of the trails. We would definitely stay again! "

"Loved our stay at hotel Chocolat. Tranquil setting and unique location on a cocoa plantation, there are lovely walks around the grounds especially to the viewpoint over the Pitons from the 'big nature trail'. We enjoyed the view from the restaurant and pool areas while having breakfast and sunset drinks. A couple of the staff were less friendly but generally service was good. Our meal in the restaurant was a bit cold but they were busy and did try and resolve it. We used the free beach shuttle one day (not the best beach but good snorkeling), did a morning yoga class and the chocolate making tour.Overall I would definitely recommend. "

Loved our stay

"Really lovely little place in a beautiful lush setting. Comfy & quiet rooms with aircon and a wonderful buffet breakfast with a good variety of hot & cold food, fresh fruit and cakes. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, good price (cheaper than in town) and delicious food. The staff was really friendly. We used the free shuttle to beautiful Sugary beach and walked to Tet Paul - a lovely walk with a beautiful view. Having a car would be a plus to get to the mud bath, volcano, waterfalls, Soufrier and beach. They are all about a 15-20 min drive away. We used taxis but they are a bit expensive on the island. "

"The view from the terrace absolutely beautiful, the pool is a wonderful way to wake up. Ruphena is the greatest host ever. She goes above and beyond to make sure that her guests have everything need and are happy. I had an amazing time both at the villa and on the island. I most definitely be coming back and staying here. I couldn't have a better time and a place to stay if it wasn't for Ruphena "
