"Loved this apartment and stay. Great location in the city and safe and secure. My only issue was the noise from the front door when guests came home late. It thunders through the building especially on the lower floored street front rooms. You weren’t sleeping though it! "

Hostal CC Malasaña

2.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (178)
"It was a very pleasant stay. Communication was good and staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Room was kept clean to a high standard. The only reason I didn't give it full marks is the heating wasn't working very well so the room felt a bit chilly in the evening. Maybe provide a duvet in the winter. Otherwise, it is an excellent place to stay to explore Madrid. Very central to all the major attractions and close to the metro station as well. Malasaña is a fantastic neighborhood replete...

Hotel Life Gran Via

4.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (328)
"This property was very unique indeed! It is like stepping into the Casablanca movie. It's Ralph Lauren meets safari, meets Caribbean island. The rooms are cozy, and if you don't want noise, don't reserve anything in the front with views. They even have room service that you'll want to eat in the fabulous lobby, because they have a bar and dining tables as well. The bed was comfy, there was a bath tub in my room! The customer service is excellent! I would definitely come back!"

Hostal Jemasaca - Palma61

2.0 star property

"Nice clean room, but its clientele can be noisy at all times of the night. Simply because its economical. Young people use it and they are not respectful of other residents. Security can at time's be lapse. We were woken at 2:30 am by a pizza delivery coming to an incorrect address. Wifi drops out with regularity in room 107."

Hostal MYD Los Perales

1.0 star property
5.8 out of 10, (130)
"Fatal se hizo la reserva con anticipación, y al llegar al lugar nos comentan que no hay habitaciones, que nos van a reubicar, para lo que esperamos 2 horas más y únicamente nos dicen que nos harán un rembolso. Nos quedamos sin habitación y ya era las 8 de la noche, para lo que en ese momento nos tocó buscar otro lugar donde quedarnos. Ahora solo esperamos que nos devuelvan el dinero de la reserva, ojalá sea cierto. "
