"This hotel was conveniently located for getting into Manhattan with a 8-10 min walk to the subways. There were plenty of restaurants close by although many of them did close early. There were general stores within walking distance too. It was a good clean base for sightseeing in New York. The area around might feel a little unsafe late at night if I was a lonely female however there were plenty of solo people walking in the area at night too. We had a fridge in our room and a balcony to sit out...

"We were there over Spring Break and there were many families with kids (like we were). The front desk manager and staff were SO accommodating. There were several on-site events throughout the week (many in partnership w/ the Aquarium next door) that catered to the many kids staying there. Would love to return. "

"Received a bill at breakfast despite having breakfast included in my selected room rate. There was only one chef on a holiday weekend. Extremely poor planning by administration. Many guests there. Impossible for him to quickly get meals out. Not his fault. "

"Did my birthday staycation here. The hotel was perfect. Rooftop views were incredible! "

"Unfortunately there is only 5 stars . 10/10/10 across the board. The gentleman who checked me in on July 3rd at midnight was amazing and extremely pleasant. The breakfast was so good and delicious. I had a great stay . They earned my patronage and respect. "
