Food and drinks weren’t cheap but the pool area was fantastic and they even cooked the fish we caught on our tour. Rooms very clean and super friendly staff. "Gorgeous property, felt like luxury in the middle of the jungle. Our room was great - the shower is nice & gives you the option to open the sliding window & look at nature while you shower. We are not usually pool users but we loved the pools at Gaia & used them everyday. The drinks & food were above average & all of the staff were exceptional - patient & kind to us, remembering my husband & I by name. The hotel offers a free tour by the Macaw reserve & through the forest with Clarence - what a lovely guide & experience! The transportation to & from your room is via golf cart - this was no issue but something to be aware of. Overall a wonderful experience - would stay again in a heartbeat."

"Excellent hotel with great pool and beautiful garden. Need to drive 10 minutes to beach at Manuel Antonio and not really walkable. Good restaurants close to hotel and easy access to National Park."
