"It was a good stay. We went to visit family. I just didn't like the idea of taking my dog out to potty in the back and then had to walk all the way around front to get back in. Although They accomodated my service dog and the pet room was clean and smelled fine. "

"I'm not sure if Washington stayed here but he definitely was nearby. 18th century building certainly has the post colonial vibe. Tall ceilings, old staircase, lots of woodwork. The inn seems to be in varying degrees of remodel. I was intrigued by the "spa" part of "inn and spa" so I booked a room then was informed that the spa in the basement had flooded so no spa treatments. I love old historic hotels and inns but this one could use a bit more updating. I had room #1, the first room on the left...

"This is a major construction site. Most of this property is gutted. There were no employees on the property as we check in and no breakfast as promised. There is heat, hot water, clean sheets and towels. There were three other guest vehicles in the lot. "
