"Had a lovely stay while away with work. The food was amazing and it is a beautiful building, with so much character. "So every now and again you discover a gem of a hotel, this was in that category. Just a few minutes from the motorway, easy to find, centrally located in the town, free and ample parking. On arrival in the hotel, was greeted by a very friendly young lady who checked me in, took my dinner reservation and showed me to me room. The room was a good size for one person, bed was comfortable and the room was modern, bright and well equipped. Dinner was excellent, top service, great food and reasonable...

Everything you need for an overnight stop

"The hotel is located next to the shops and restaurants at the service station. Parking is in the regular service station parking Check-in was fast, with very little paperwork to complete. The room was large with tea and coffee facilities and all that we needed in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and there was very little traffic noise. If we ever needed to stop overnight on our way north we would definitely consider stopping here."
