"Very grand hotel with a lot of history, even stories about ghosts that haunt mainly the 3 rd floor. The floor we were on lol. We couldn't fault the cleanliness and helpfulness and politness of the staff. Didn't have chance to look around at this vast hotel but will definitely stay there again as being right in the middle of Liverpool and such a good price what more could you ask for ! "

Breakfast however was chaos, not enough staff, poor Chef trying to get enough food out for fully booked hotel, and trying to cook special requests. Few staff and no enthusiasm to clear tables.
