"Fantastic place to stay while in Liverpool. Minutes from the main shopping area at Liverpool One and is surrounded by plenty of bars and cafes and restaurants for all tastes. The front desk staff were amazing help and very friendly. Most importantly the rooms were a good size clean and comfortable and they also provided a mini fridge, tea/coffee machine and had a microwave."

"The Richmond used to be a great property but feels neglected of late. Room given initially was so smelly, asked the manager and to his credit changed the room to something more pleasant. Overall, the cleanliness is not great, lots of visible damage to the hotel, but only stayed for one night so made do. Have stayed before an the hotel does have a nice wing which is newer but rest of it was poor and it's the second time I've needed a room change. "

I did phone to ask about bag drop off but when we got there it was just a cupboard with no lock and bags were not tagged.
