"Gorgeous, isolated chateau surrounded by Lodi Wine country. Home was large, spacious, and immaculate. Well appointed home even with separate wine and champagne glasses!! Dream kitchen, and even in the bunk-room there were high end memory foam beds. Backyard was spectacular with poor, spa, and pickleball court all in good working order. Fire pit and covered al-fresco dining area were bonuses! Among the best places I have stayed, and I have rented >20 homes over the last few years…."

Lake Tullock is surrounded by private property except for a pay spot at the south end of the lake, about a 45 minute drive from this house. There was no mention of this on the listing. There was suppose to be a guest pass to a near by beach club but they would not let us in because of some confusion over whether the one registered with HOA of not. Very disappointing. "First of all, we booked this property on 8/4. The owner stated they weren't aware. We were already at this location and had to leave because they double booked. We were rerouted to another property in the "hood". There was a shooting. Pubic hairs on the towels. A dangerous basement staircase, no lock on the door! It was too late for us to go anywhere else. There was only 1 bathroom for 5 people. I was given a $225 discount prior to arriving to the new location. I would have turned it down if i...
