The property manager was in contact before my trip to provide all the check in details. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the area. "

"The property was beautifully maintained with everything we could possibly want to make it an easy, relaxing weekend, from an assortment of coffee pods to firewood for the outdoor fire pit, to propane for the fire pit on the deck, to games. The house is less than a mile from the entrance to Pipestem State Park, so ideal for hiking beautiful vistas. The owner was also great in answering questions for me before our trip about the house and surrounding area. I really can't say enough nice things...

"We felt like we were at home, only better. The porch swing was a big hit with the entire family - perfect for enjoying a gorgeous view. Very well stocked kitchen. This was a great place for us for parents weekend at VMI. We enjoyed exploring Buchanan and the James River. We’ll definitely be back! "

"Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated."

"Very convenient to park and activities. I enjoyed biking the greenway in Oak Hill and walking to Cafe One Ten for dinner. Quiet, safe area away from tourists but close enough to get to all the hikes and rafting."
