"The place presents just like it does online… It’s by no means the Ritz, but a great value for the price. Our only complaint would be the overuse of Febreze and air fresheners… We were overwhelmed when we first open the door and had to let the place air out for a bit."

"Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit...

"Harriet was an outstanding hostess. She warmly greeted us and was available for any questions we had. Her home is a jewel. Beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped, and in a fabulous location. We loved every minute of the stay and would highly recommend Harriet’s home. She even left us a homemade friendship bread. Delicious!"

"The house is stocked with everything you need, if you want to make meals for family or if you’re just using it to have a place to stay while visiting the area. The fresh fruit and bottles of water in the fridge, the free pizza from the gas/grocery store next door, the shampoos/soap/toothpaste in the bathrooms were nice added touches of a welcome.
