Although we were here for a wedding, several of us stayed behind to work and linger with coffee in front the windows to see the gorgeous views! It could not have been better and we hated to leave! Was so close to the Glade Creek Farm wedding venue!!!"

"Arrived during a winter storm and the owner worked with snow removal company to clear the driveway.. house was clean and had some of the best snowy mountain views I have ever seen.. waking up in the master bedroom to snow covered trees was just stunning.. hope to return soon (four wheel drive recommended in snow otherwise it’s fine) "

"This wasn't a fun trip, as we were in town for my mother's funeral from out of state and had friends coming with us. The size of the house and accommodations were perfect to host them and have an intimate family meal among the beauty of the woods and the river views. Highly recommend. We will be back for more fun times and to enjoy the wonderful front porch. "

"Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit...

"Everything was very nice and well organized. The only issue was that the water had a VERY strong sulphur smell which did lessen on the 2nd night and day. I’m pretty sure we were the first visitors in awhile and that is why it was so strong."

"Harriet was an outstanding hostess. She warmly greeted us and was available for any questions we had. Her home is a jewel. Beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped, and in a fabulous location. Loved the area! "

We did use the futons in the living room, host did mention to bring queen size bed sheets. Though not the most comfortable it worked for the 3 adult couples. Overall experience was great. "

"We had a wonderful stay. All previous reviews are accurate. The kitchen was fully stocked if you would like to plan for a big meal. The road up to the mountain was smooth and well maintained. The house is very private /isolated as the community only has a few homes built at this time. Communication for any questions was prompt. We highly recommend this property!"
