"The hotel and grounds itself are very beautiful with modern decor. The breakfast was a good selection and the bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Check-in was quick and easy and we received a quick tour of the hotel. The local knowledge could have been better, when we asked for a local restaurant recommendation we didnt expect to be referred to a chain restaurant, we did go for a walk and settle on a local Thai restaurant. "Nice, clean and comfortable property. Every that you need is supplied. Mobile & WIFI can be a bit patchy due to rural location but not an issue for us. Local area was not good for dog walking due to the wet conditions over last few months and did not want to bring back a mucky dog. Nearby Lewes was a good town with choice of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Nearby ‘Rainbow’ pub do an excellent Sunday carvery. Close proximity of railway line did not bother us as we are early risers in the...
