"At first glance, the house is super cute. The patio and the views are stunning. I could (and did) sit on the patio for hours a day. It was clean when we checked in and the person who greeted us was great. It’s also very central to the little village (1 minute walk to restaurants and supermarket) and to Zuma tours for excursions. "A completely run down place. When entering the room there was mouse poop on the beds and the shelves. Taking a shower was impossible because there wasn’t enough water available. Place is not safe. Long dark walkways without any illumination in the property to get to your cabin. At night lots of traffic noise and parties in the neighborhood. Not recommendable"

"The house we stayed in has beautiful woodwork and was spacious but also a bit treacherous with a stairway with no handrail and a step up part way into the living area. The beach is lovely and it was not touristy when we there (during heavy rainfall). Howler monkeys entertained us frequently. The maid did a very good job. Like many Costa Rican properties the road in was quite bad. The kitchen had few of what I consider essentials so cooking was challenging but not impossible. The shower...

"We had an amazing stay over Christmas at this beautiful home. All I can say is wow! It is breathtaking when you get out of the car and see the beautiful outdoor living space right on the ocean! It is so remote and not touristy, which we loved. We had Dominga provide most of our meals and the food was soooo good! "It was a great place and a great trip. Beautiful view, excellent location and accommodations. Grace was fantastic and we would be happy to go back again. The owners were very easy to communicate with and timely in their reaponse. The house staff was very helpful and kept the location clean and comfortable.
