The villa was luxurious, with minimalist design, a full sliding door that transformed the space into shared indoor/outdoor space. The private plunge pool is a game changer! The driveway into the development is very steep, but this is typical of many accommodations in Santa Teresa. You can walk to the beach and back, just prepare yourself for a short but challenging climb back up! "

"First and foremost, the staff were absolutely fantastic!!! They were ALL so friendly, funny and accommodating. They made the stay so enjoyable. The resort boasts 5 restaurants but based on hotel occupancy they are not all open each night. It does make business sense and I get it. I was just surprised by this when we got there. You need to make reservations each day for where you want to dine that night (based on what restaurants are open). You need to do this first thing in the morning or you may not get into your preferred restaurant for that night. For the most part, the food was very good to excellent. Our favorites were the Asian and Italian restaurants. They seemed to be most guests favorites. Laundry seemed to be an issue every day. We were never given a full compliment of towels each day and often had to go to the front desk to ask for hand towels and wash clothes. The beach was really nice but it's not a "sugar sand" beach. When the tide is out you have around 150 (or more) yards of hard-pack sand that is great for beach walking or running. It's a nice walk into Samara on the beach - about 1.5 miles and takes about 25-30 minutes. Some good tourist shopping and beach bars there. There are also several surfing schools there if you want to try that. The waves are great to learn on. We could not believe how warm the water was in the ocean (March). I've never felt the ocean that warm before. We were very happy there! "
