"The house we stayed in has beautiful woodwork and was spacious but also a bit treacherous with a stairway with no handrail and a step up part way into the living area. The beach is lovely and it was not touristy when we there (during heavy rainfall). Howler monkeys entertained us frequently. The maid did a very good job. "Wow, that first impression when we walked in just before sunset. That impression will stay with me. Every morning we would sit and enjoy our coffees on the front deck for hours. The howlers kept us company a few mornings, so between the view and the monkeys, you couldn’t ask for more. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfy and had lots of storage. Finally, the property managers at Samara and Kristina the owner were all so helpful and kind. I would love to go back one day. "

"This place was absolutely wonderful and I don’t have one negative thing to say. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. The grounds were lush and gorgeous. The water slide was super fun. "Our family of four stayed between Christmas and New Years. The house was perfect - great views and great location. Right in the middle of Santa Teresa. The host was incredible. So helpful before and during the trip with reservations, cars, etc. We used LocalBird for fishing, snorkeling, etc. We missed our flight from San Jose to Cobano and there were no other flights.
