"Excellent property, visited by scarlet macaws, toucans, two types of monkeys and howlers near by. The hosts Milena and Alberto very kind and helpful but totally inobtrusive. Nice pool and four of the most friendly dogs. Grocery shops, bus stop and good restaurants with in easy walking distance. Spent excellent day in Manuel Antonio Park with host family plus their son ( Felipe ) a park ranger. "

"My husband, sister, neice, and I had a wonderful time at this gorgeous vacation home. Very clean with comfy beds, a big covered deck, a refreshing pool, and plenty of space. Bud was helpful and friendly, and provided clear directions and a booklet of wonderful recommendations. We saw macaws and monkeys from the deck and living room. "The property was very nice and in a great part of the country. We especially enjoyed seeing the monkeys, various birds and iguanas in the trees and deck each day. We walked into town each day, shopping and experiences the restaurants. Quepos was nice as well other tourist attractions in the area. Marie was helpful, arranging tours and giving recommendations. The property did need some maintenance, for example, the master shower head needs replacing, and the pool area needed some painting...

"Dennis was a great host. His home was very comfortable and have everything needed to accommodate our stay. Me and a few of my bros felt safe and welcomed in that neighborhood. We were at a good distance to get downtown or out the city if we needed. The pool was HEATED! Heck yes. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Good times. "

"Solitude and sun with all the necessities. Absolutely loved this place. The grounds were fantastic, enjoyed the pool daily, and opted to stay in the pool house because of the outdoor shower. I wish i could have stayed here longer. Felt secluded enough but the beach and restaurants either a short walk or quick drive away. If i had to give anything negative and this is a stretch the water could have been hotter for the showers. "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. The listing pictures however did not accurately depict what was or was not in the house. For example there were no televisions in the house and the dining room furniture was not as depicted and needed to be updated. For example, the chairs did not match the height of the table and were uncomfortable. The pool was fabulous but the furniture around the pool was not very comfortable. Fernando and Maria were very responsive whenever we needed anything."

"This house is a great value! The location is great with many types of wildlife experienced while sitting on the back porch. You are within walking distance of the city of Quepos, but beware of the massive hill that you have to climb to return home. My only complaint would be that there is really no where to lounge around the pool. There was only a chair and table with no where to stretch out and enjoy the poolside. An upgrade to the patio furniture would be nice as well. There is so much to see...
