"We had plenty of space for 4 guys. We spent most of our time in living room or balcony. The sound of the fountain and architecture of the house made it peaceful. You have the full view of the city. The staff were helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. We asked for messages and coordinated with professionals familiar with house. There’s a bit of travel to and from San Jose or sure but it’s worth it. Always tell driver to follow the signs and the street has white stones lining the roadway....

"The home was beautiful. The pool overlooked the mountains and was stunning. It was close to town. The only downside is that I wish it were more walkable. Just a note, the bedrooms had AC but the main living space did not. It wasn't uncomfortable because of the fans. It was a lovely place to stay."

"We met family (12 people) for a week of adventure in Costa Rica. Alex was a wonderful host and arranged all transportation, excursions and chef prepared meals. The house suited our needs perfectly with large common areas to accommodate all of us. The bedrooms provided private space for each couple/family unit. Small grocery and cafe just a short walk away. "From initial reservation to pre-trip activity planning, to check-in and throughout our entire stay, Casa Calma was an outstanding experience all around. We opted for the private chef for all of our dinners and this turned out to be a great move. The chef offered an expansive and fresh menu—and the flexibility to change plans when we caught a mahi mahi. The house is very clean, secure and a great place to watch wildlife in the jungle. The home is centrally located and close to many restaurants and the supermarket. The rooms were clean and kitchen was supplied with the necessities. The place could use a few more pieces of furniture in the living/gathering area as there were not enough seats for our group to sit inside together, but we spent most of our time outside, so wasn’t too bad but we...

"2 couples shared Casa Roja for a week and loved it. The jungle location saw daily monkeys of all kinds very up close and personal! The jungle canopy provided a welcoming relief from the hot sun, and a dip in cool pool was perfect. The open concept (to the jungle) main living area was so fun. You felt like you were in a tree house. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was perfect. Wai, our property manager was so helpful and prompt with communication. Highly recommend this property "
