"Supplies were short or missing. No laundry soap, small amount of dish soap, enough ground coffee for one cup, short of toilet paper. Suggest you hire a better housekeeping crew. My wife stayed there this time but when I was there in November the gas log quit working. I think the propane tank ran out. "

"The stay was good. The well head was frozen when we got there but got the water moving. The host was responsive and had a good attitude. I give 5 stars because the weather shouldn't give a bad mark to the owner or property. Clean environment, really cool view, and perfect for a husband and wife getaway. Not normally the luxury I'm used to, but this place was an enjoyable stay for the weekend. I would recommend this cabin to any couple looking to get away for a secluded relaxing stay."

"We came up for a day in West Jefferson & a night at Tweetsie Railroad with my granddaughter. This house was perfect for our stay! The host sent detailed directions including an alternate route in case of bad weather. We arrived after dark in a downpour of rain & had no problems at all finding it or getting in. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again. It was exactly as described and such a charming home. Thanks to the host for a great stay! "

"We were disappointed that the cabin did not seem to be properly prepared for visitors. The internet was out the entire time of our stay and we could not get the hot tub to warm up. There was no guide book for the cabin to help us. Additionally an overhead light was out and a carbon monoxide filter was flashing red needing replacement. There was a significant amount of trash placed improperly in a recycling bin and swimming trunks left over from the previous guests. We had a very rainy weekend...
