Our Possum Valley Hideaway offers you and your family a secluded, yet modern dwelling. Located on in4 secluded acres, up a long, winding, paved and gravel road , through the heart of the Appalachian Mountains lies your own 'Little Dash of Heaven'

We have 2 bedrooms, ** AND A NEWLY ADDED LOFT!!!!**1 bathroom with newly installed bath tub, and an open living room with kitchen. Kitchen includes utensils, dishes and cookware. Come relax on our wrap around porch while swinging in our 2 porch swings. Enjoy the wildlife such as many birds, whitetail deer, wild turkey, squirrels and rabbits, which may be seen at any time.

During your stay you can enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, lakes, bike riding on the Creeper Trail, mountain scenery, and NASCAR Racing at the Bristol Raceway.

This is a beautiful cabin! We enjoyed our stay. All the necessities provided & clean. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Vey relaxing! Not to far from town but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. I will definitely reserve again if we plan a vacation in the area.

Cabin was extra cute and cozy. Plenty of room for family of 5. Hot tub was nice after a long day of hiking and biking. Would stay again.

The cabin is very cute and quaint. After working long hours at the conference we were here to attend it was so nice to come back and relax in the hot tub. Can't wait to come back again and spend some time in the porch swing reading a good book

Nice peaceful mountain getaway!
We really enjoyed our time here, it was the perfect getaway from city life. The hot tub was perfect after hiking in the Grayson Highlands all day. It rained on our last day there and it was so peaceful hearing the pitter-patter of the rain on the metal roof. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the remote location and the solitude. The hot tub was hot but the jets not so much. The property was very clean and the bed very comfy. The he rain on the tin roof was relaxing as was the front porch swing and all the birds! Overall the property was more than we expected for the price.

This is our 2nd time at the Possum Valley Hideaway. We enjoyed rocking on the front porch, soaking in the hot tub, and the comfy, well-equipped cabin. I’m sure we’ll be back again while waiting for our forever home to be built nearby.

Beautiful retreat in the hills
My wife and I were looking for a weekend away to unplug and found it here. Very remote and we enjoyed watching the snow fall from the warmth of the propane fireplace. The cabin layout covered some of the windows a bit too much and would be nice to move a few things around for better views.
