"We stayed over a long weekend at the cabin and had a great time. Plenty of area to explore and the creek behind the house was gorgeous. The hot tub was awesome. Inside the cabin was great, beautifully decorated, nice appliances and cabinets etc. The gas fireplace along with the AC unit kept the whole house warm when it was 14 degrees outside. Only downside was the couch, definitely worn out and needs replacing. Also if traveling from Boone to the cabin and there is heavy snow, 4WD or AWD is...

"As advertised. Very spacious and comfortable sleeping for our 10 adults. Winter storm and probably 10 inches of snow that week and though a four-wheel-drive was needed it was easily accessible and ample parking for fairly large vehicles. Hope to return."

"I cannot say anything bad about this rental! It’s was perfect! We didn’t spend a lot of time there because we were out having adventures but it was a perfect place for our crew! This was my first time VRBO and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Will stay here again!"

It was my daughter’s birthday & the 3 girls had the basement to themselves which included bedroom (double bed & twin bunk), bathroom, game room with pool table & TV, as well as access to deck with hot tub. "Cain is wonderful in a great location and very spacious. Everything was as advertised everything worked. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water. The views from this property are amazing. Fires in the fireplace every night. We did not have any negative issues even though we were snowed in for 2 days we had an amazing time! Be sure to have 4/all wheel during snow season. "Our party of four adults really enjoyed the cabin. We mostly treated it like a motel room. No cooking or use of the jacuzzi. But the kitchen was set up well and seemed to have all the equipment and utensils necessary. The decor was rustic without going overboard. Beds were comfy.Great location, Easy access to property. We may certainly return if the need for a larger place arises again."

"We had a great stay here! Beautiful views. Short walk to top of mountain. If stairs aren’t your thing you might want to skip. We really had a wonderful time getting away from the city. Hosts communicated all through out the stay. They are really accommodating folks. Can’t wait to see this place with some snow! Wish I was still there <3"
