"Hotel is amazing, nice big rooms, lovely breakfast area, library on 3rd floor is so cosey, it feels like a home from home Staff are very friendly & accommodating Location is good with a bus stop literally outside, you just need to know which buses take you where! Area is a bit run down, but work is actively happening to "spruce" it up Would reccomend highly"

"This looks to be a newly renovated apartment. However be advised like everything in Portugal, the apartment is located at the top of a very steep narrow road which our cabbie refused to drive up...leaving us to haul our luggage up a very steep, what seemed to be a never ending journey...only to find a narrow staircase to be transversedone to the top floor. The apartment is incredible though."

"I liked all the windows that gave a bright airy feel to the apartment. The last two blocks up the hill were a challenge at the end of the day, but those very hills are why one goes to Lisbon - you can’t have it both way. I loved the place."

Especially the waiter, Mario, took really good care of us during breakfasts. Amazing location as well, very close to public transport and walking distance to some major historic sites. "
