"This is now my second stay at Koutsounari Traditional Cottages, and based on the wonderful time I had again I am confident it will not be my last! Koutsounari truly is a small slice of paradise on the already beautuful island of Crete, and Ioanna the property manager has created a unique and authentic Greek experience with the cottages. From the architecture to the interior decor, every detail is well thought out to create a traditional feel while still providing all the modern amenities we are accostomed to (wifi, climate control, etc.). The area itself is peaceful and quiet, and the beach, grocery store and dining options are all within walking distance. If your travels take you to this part of Crete, do yourself a favor and look into staying here, I know you won't be disappointed..."

"The hotel complex was well maintained with clean and clear pathways. The buildings and rooms were modern though showed some signs of wear and tear, but all facilities worked to the level expected. Our room was lovely, actually a suite, with a personal pool which was wonderful. Food options were plentiful and varied at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were all polite and helpful and friendly."

"Loved my bungalow on the sea with private pool. The large hotel swimming pool was also very beautiful. Easy access to the sea via sturdy ladders. Charming secluded nooks with lounge chairs and tables at different levels. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Water shuttle to multiple restaurants on the property. Enjoyed the delicious sushi and more at the exceptional seafront Sumosan Japanese restaurant, where glass floor panels offered a look into the fish and sea below us. Lovely landscaping. Attentive and caring staff. Interesting shops. I did not use the Six Senses Spa, but for those who are spa people, I don’t doubt it is as remarkable as everything else there. Many guests return regularly, and I definitely want to stay again. Highly recommend this very special getaway."
