They had a very nice laundry machine and commercial dryer, but it was outside and didn't have a combination lock. A little bit of a walk to the train station but not bad and lots happening in terms of interesting shops along the walk. Lots of nice restaurants and shops near the place too. "This accommodation was really good the only downside was the lift didn’t go all the way up to or room, it stopped two levels below and then we had to carry luggage and prams up two floors of stairs. Otherwise was good accommodation "

"Hi would highly recommend staying here as it is a very authentic Japanese experience. The tatami beds are surprisingly comfortable and we really enjoyed our time here, it’s close to Gotanda station and supermarket/ family mart are very close by. Please keep in mind that the walls are quite thin so its important to keep quiet to respect other guests, also you can hear the train as it goes past but that didn’t us at all. "

"Really special little apartment in Shibuya. Not a far walk from Shibuya station and Google Maps will bring you to the apartment easily. It is on a slopey part of Shibuya so walking from Shibuya station to the apartment with luggages can be a bit tiring up the slopes. The apartment itself is small but they managed to squeeze in 6 beds and a very spacious toilet/shower/laundry area. We did have to close up our luggages and store it in between the beds at night so that there is space to sit around...

"Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting Kawagoe with its historic 'Edo Town', as the nearest station (Matoba) is just two stops away. The very kind owner/host offers a comfortable place to stay with excellent hospitality and flexibility for not just solo travellers but couples and even small groups. "The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"The unit I stayed in had slight differences than the unit pictured, but it was located in the same building complex. I really enjoyed the convenience of the location - easy access to a Seven Eleven and near public transit routes. The building is about halfway between Ebisu Station and Shibuya Station, a bit longer than a 7 minute walk but still very close to everything. The stairs in the unit are very steep to get up to the bed but a pleasant stay!"
