"Have stayed several times in the smaller ground floor courtyard units, which are great but this time upgraded ourselves to a Junior Suite in the main building that was well worth doing. It not only provided more spacious accommodation but we really enjoyed using the private deck with sea views. New owners John & Deb very friendly and welcoming, so we hope to return in the near future. "

"The owner was very friendly and helpful and endeavoured to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Managed to chat with fellow neighbours in the motel and shared a bbq and beers. Homely and friendly atmosphere at the motel. "

"We loved the fact we could watch the amazing sunrise this morning from our room. The breakfast was great and so was the company at breakfast, the other guests."

"This was a great place to stay for one night on our drive up to Nelson. The only thing that let it down for us is that the unit we had was an upstairs one fronting the road and was very noisy - especially with trucks traveling up and down the road all through the night (and some inconsiderate drivers using their engine brakes)."
