Make sure to state that you need the single bed if booking that room - we were kindly upgraded, but unfortunately because we were checking in late we hadn’t actually spoken to anyone. No huge problem, sharing a bed with a mate is ok, but a seperate bed would have been better!"

"We had a very comfortable stay with the most fabulous view of the snowy alps above Kaikoura. Very handy to The Pier Hotel for dinner and close to the Penisula Seal Colony which was a lovely walk. Barbara was very helpful and we will stay again. "
