"The staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is relatively new and showed nicely. While it is situated within a 5 minute walk from Blue Mosque, the area is very quiet and the rooms come with modern silent windows. The rooftop terrace has great views and is a great place to enjoy breakfast in the morning or a drink/dinner in the evening. On the negative side, the mattresses weren’t as comfortable as I would have liked (not enough support) and the shower head leaked so much that we had to use the wand instead (minor annoyance) and the shower door didn’t close properly (pet leave of mine). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel."

"I had an exceptional experience at Carina Gold - everything from the service to the atmosphere was flawless. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the old city, making it incredibly easy to explore the historic sites and local charm. What truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely committed to making my visit special. Especially, Halil. Their hospitality elevated the entire experience. I highly recommend Carina Gold and can’t wait to come back!"

"This was the perfect hotel for my city break in Istanbul. The room was a little small but for me on my own it was fine and I was only in it to sleep really. The bed I found a bit hard and my air con wasn't working but I spoke to the staff at reception and they got an engineer to sort the air con and put a mattress topper on my bed. The location is amazing with the tram just at the end of the street which is less than a 5 minute walk. I found it pretty quiet with the exception of a few banging doors but you're up early for sightseeing anyway. Breakfast had a vast array of options.i enjoyed a massage here too which was wonderful. The service from the staff here is exceptional and I would highly recommend staying here. The rooftop bar is lovely too. "
