Situated centrally in Istanbul's Faith/Emininou's neighbourhood, easy reach to Landmarks such a Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque, this hotel boasts roof top views from its Restaurant of Istanbul skyline- the view to Asia from the Bosphorous River and the rest of the European side. The room was well designed, fancy, stylish and modern, room service was OK, prices in the hotel can be a bit dear but the surrounding area is varied (although very touristy and exorbitant). I arrived late and was checked in efficiently (did not receive any supposed beneifits of being an EXPEDIA PLATINUM MEMBER but I did not care)- The service from the Bellboys were excellent, taking me to my room and welcoming me. A downside, the room had an unpleasant smell stemming from the plumbing of the toilet-i often had to spray the room with perfume to mask the smell-I think this needs to be addressed because this is a reocccuring problem. Sadly, I was inappropriately touched by a member of staff on the 21st January between 14:50 to 15:00. I regret not saying anything in the moment or reporting it as I felt shocked and confused. In the lift on the way to my room, a member of staff cornered me and turned around (so his face could not be seen on camera) and hovered his hand over my private area. I am hoping the hotel sees this and reviews the camera to identify the staff.

We had a great stay here. The property is well maintained and shares a Hamman-style Spa with their sister hotel across the street. Access to sauna and steam room was included in the stay, which was an excellent relaxation after a long day of exploring the city!

Apart from the location, this hotel does not have much else to offer. The rooms were not very clean. VIP access was not honored despite Expedia Gold status. For the price there are far better options available and I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel is located in the tourist part of the city, conveniently adjacent to a tram stop. It is bright and clean throughout. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with all the necessary features, including a safe. The cleaning staff were most helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and I cannot say enough good things about the waiter, who was most attentive. Also, the roof restaurant, with its splendid view of the Blue Mosque, provided a wide variety of excellent entre's. The only negative was the concierge, who we asked to set up a tour of Hagia Sofia for us, but did not inform us of some additional payments we had to make to the tour guide, after we had started the tour. Apart from this, the hotel was excellent, and I would not hesitate to stay ther again.

Fabulous hotel, spotlessly clean. The staff are amazing always smiling and helpful. We stayed for 7 nights in a deluxe attic room, which was fantastic. Don't be fooled by the term 'attic', it was big, plenty of room, very comfy bed, large shower room with toiletries and soft towels. A safe and fridge was in the room, bottled water every day. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.Even though the hotel was central, it's within walking distance of most of the major sites, with easy access to buses and trams for others. The area is very busy, but you couldn't hear any outside noise in the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to everyone. I loved it.

The Hotel is great unfortunately our start was everything but great as we received the wrong room and at first there was not a solution that we could accept. We did change the room the next day but again they did not give us 2 separate beds and we had to ask again as this was what we booked. after a lot of back and forth we received a complimentary dinner and were told a refund for the first night. We are still waiting for the refund??? Besides the issue and what we felt like bad check in the rest of the stay was great, breakfast staff is super nice, the spa is amazing and the locotion can't be better. I would probably chose the Sura Hotel instead of Sura Design as you have to cross the street to use the Pool , spa , garden etc.

The Sura Design is well situated in the Sultanahmet area and opposite the Hagia Sophia Sura as well. The hotel is nice and decorated well. Staff are helpful and nice. You can also go to the other hotel where there is a pool and also have breakfast there. My only reason for 4 stars is the breakfast could be better labelled and as a vegetarian choice was limited, although they did always try. On the whole a great place.

Great location! Walkable to main tourist attractions and shopping. In the heart of the old city. However, the area prices are expensive especially with Istanbul inflation recently. Otherwise it was perfect if this was your first time in Istanbul. Hotel provided transportation to airport for a fee. Breakfast was included and perfect to get our day started. They have an amazing restaurant located downstairs Galeyan and it had the best manti we have ever had! Delicious! Would recommend this hotel.

First of all, we came in pretty late in the evening and Matt was fantastic and helping us get settled and also getting us set up for food. The next day we enjoyed the Turkish bath and spa, ulan and kadek went above and beyond and really did a fantastic job. Over all the staff at Sura did exceed our expectations.
