"A beautifully designed rustic lodge with vaulted rooflines and ceilings. The house is located inside the park and offers great views. The layout is quite open, though unfortunately, the master bath is located behind the kitchen, away from the bedrooms. The cabinets and fixtures throughout the house could use an update, but the kitchen appliances are fairly new. Many of the lights in the kitchen and living room were out, making the ambiance of the house quite dim."

Check in was super easy and when I messaged questions before our stay I always received prompt and thorough responses. Our dogs could safely enjoy the deck. Indoors was comfortable and cozy. Plenty of extra blankets and towels if needed and all this is only 2 miles from Sequoia! It was great!"

"I had to get out the city and wanted to explore Sequoia National Park without having to stay in some touristy hotel. This house was better than perfect. It was the right amount of secluded while also be close to restaurants and shops — and right next to Sequoia. Spending the day at the park, surrounded by tourists made coming back to this property to relax on the riverbank in seclusion and peace almost made the house itself the primary attraction of this trip. 11/10, would book again. "

"Stayed here for 3 nights. Property and home is nice and spacious. Pretty peaceful other than the close neighbor dog that seemed to bark and be heard every night/morning while we were there. The property owner was pretty prompt with responding to my messages regarding any concerns so thats a plus. Here are my complaints about our stay; we were unable to use the ceiling fan in the master bedroom or turn on the light without the fan because apparently the previous guest lost or stole the fan...

Highly recommend Sequoia Coffee Company for breakfast, sandwiches, or coffee. Then you’ve gotta stop at Reimers Ice Cream one night as well - all of these places are within 10 mins of the VRBO! "

The wraparound deck, hillside landscape, wildlife and plantings gave the perfect setting for our family. The home was well-appointed and gave comfortable and ample space for both togetherness and and privacy for each person. "After the fires in Los Angeles we wanted a relaxing weekend alone in the mountains with fresh air. We got exactly that. The drive up was beautiful, check in couldn’t have been more clear, the property is beautiful, and kitchen is fully stocked. "Hidden Gem! Very welcoming! Lovely property with plenty of art around to enjoy. Greeted by their dogs as well. Loved listening to the river, also we had our own view of the river too! "I can honestly say I've never stayed in a cabin without a restroom or electricity and I heated it with the wood they provided which was very funlight were propane lights, lit with a match. However the drive up and down the Mt. Was at the least, not for the faint of heart...very rough on my car."
