"I can't recommend Hotel Mondschein enough. It's ideally placed if you're in Innsbruck for the Christmas markets, with stunning views over the river and the Christkindlmarkt. The rooms are lovely and the breakfasts first rate, but by far the best thing about it is the staff. They're all so friendly and helpful. We stay at the Mondschein every time we visit Innsbruck."

On the minus side, no room service available on our 1st night due to a 'private function' and the second night ( a Friday) we were told at 6pm the restaurant was full & therefore no room service again. We expressed our dissatisfaction & were given our food. I would expect any four star hotel to have available room service regardless of external functions or restaurant...
