Cabin Rentals in Southern Region

"First of all, I had read the reviews about getting a hold of the owner to get your pin code and room and anticipated some difficulty doing the same. They had two numbers listed on the wall outside. I couldn't find a free phone to use, but I was able to message the 2nd number on Whatsapp and get an immediate response (I tried to call the number a few times and didn't get an answer so messaging them was the way to go). "The place wasn't difficult to find, I was a bit worried when I was booking. The location is great, it is close to a lot of tourist attractions. Our room had a wonderful view of the falls. The wind and rain were strong when we stayed, but there wasn't any issue. The room design was chic and posh. The kitchen was fully equipped. I wish they will have flexible/refundable booking option. It was also a bit pricey. I will recommend for longer stays. "

"Great property a very short drive from Selfoss. We stayed a week in early November. The check in book is very thorough. I am very glad the beds were comfortable (rare these days with rental properties) and the owners were very quick to respond with all communication both prior and during our stay. "Lovely location. Wonderful main area and kitchen. Food was great! Hotel rooms (turf houses) are teeny - 1 bedroom house had nowhere to put luggage nor any cabinets to unpack. Bathroom had no place for toiletries. Minimal personal items such as no conditioner, no robes, no slippers. The advertised private thermal pools are actually shared with two other units. Since so little needed to be done to upgrade comfort, this could have been a 5-star experience, but didn’t quite feel that way. "
