"We were very comfortable in this space. If only it was warmer and we could have had coffee on the patio. As is common in N California, the smell of mildew was very prevalent in the bathroom and bedroom, but it wasn't a deal breaker. But we loved being able to walk just down the street and walk the dunes and beach. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location was easy to locate and a good starting point for our visits with family."

We did a lot of exploring of the surrounding area while we were there and it was so nice to come back to this little retreat to relax after a long day. "I wanted to take a bath so I got a couple of the Clorox wipes to wipe down the bath tub. The first swipe I did came up with debris and hair. It grossed me out, so I decided to take a shower. The water lapped at my ankles because there was so much hair clogging the drain!! Then I dropped something behind the nightstand and found tons of dust there. Looked clean, but was only clean in the middle. "

The check-in / check-out process could not have been easier. We had a great time exploring the area and looked forward to coming back home to this beautiful house each night. "Overall a unique, and nice house and stay. If you bring a pup you should know that there is no access from the house itself to the enclosed, designated area for your dog. It was raining most of the time we were there so not much fun especially at night to have to slop around outside to get to the entrance to the gate to the dog area. This is just a heads up. "
