"My wife came up to Eureka to attend a special Valentine’s Day event at Dick Taylor Chocolate. We chose the Hum Bee studio because it took dogs and it was close to old town. We ended up loving everything about the place. It was a great location close enough to walk to old town but far enough away to be very quiet. It was clean, neat, and quite cozy and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. I highly recommend this property. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean. Loved the mix of old and new furnishings. Charmed by the reading nook. Only recommendation would be to improve the night stand and related electrical access to accommodate C-pap machine. Easy walk to old town and just one block away from the beautiful Carson mansion. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting the Victorian experience within walking distance to old town."

"My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon as we made our way down California. The garden was beautiful, the size was bigger than I expected, and the kitchen was awesome. The only thing I would improve was the bathroom. There wasn’t spare toilet paper and there weren’t many towels. Great stay!"

"The host was available immediately and as often as needed and privacy was easy to have. Always had clean towels and bedding. Kitchen was perfect and easy to use. Nice warm floors and the bidet was wonderful to use. This was our first experience of a tiny house and it was a great experience. We were close to town and the freeway without being too close. We would come back to visit."

"I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. "Our Thanksgiving stay at the Bluff house properties was fantastic! It worked out perfectly for everyone to do their holiday cooking and then share the holiday meal in the Farmhouse. There is such an attention to detail in each of the rentals. Friday we walked to town and had a great time doing some shopping in the wonderful shops on Main St. Ferndale. "Overall a unique, and nice house and stay. If you bring a pup you should know that there is no access from the house itself to the enclosed, designated area for your dog. It was raining most of the time we were there so not much fun especially at night to have to slop around outside to get to the entrance to the gate to the dog area. This is just a heads up. "
