"This condo was absolutely perfect! We couldn't ask for a better location... right in the heart of Reykjavik.... overlooking the harbor! We were able to walk to restaurants, shops, and points of interest, and the bus stop for all of the organized tours was just across the street. The condo, itself, was very clean, well stocked with amenities, and very comfortable. The check in process was super easy and the owners were so helpful and responsive! "We took several trips to fantastic sights. Apartment is very well located, 10 minutes walk to main shops/restaurants/city centre attractions, and close to tour pick up bus stop. The apartment was very well equiped and spacious, great views over the bay, and two good balconies to sit out on. Sigurgeir was very good at checking in with us, and was most helpful. Hightly recommended."

"The location was great. There were some things in the apartment that needed to be fixed. The bathroom door was rubbing against the floor. It took effort to open and close it. Not sure if we ever truly got it closed. The outside temperature was really cool and windy when we were there but the apartment was very stuffy. "Brilliant apartment in a fantastic location. Very central to walk to restaurants, museums, harbour and rainbow road. Beds were comfortable and apartment was warm and well equipped. Very handy parking right outside and shop next door. Would definitely come back."

"Our family stayed at Brekka for the holiday season. The host’s directions were spot on and we found the house no trouble at night,in the snow, and never having been to Iceland before. The house was warm and clean on arrival & fully stocked with all utensils and cooking pots and pans, etc we needed for our stay. The three bedrooms and upstairs loft all got used as sleeping quarters; everyone was comfortable and the blankets sheets and pillows were all clean and inviting for a good night’s sleep....

"The location of the hotel is excellent! My wife and I had a view of the mountains and the water. The mountains in March were still mostly covered with snow so the view was incredible! The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, gift shops and the popular tourist areas. The staff was very helpful, friendly and polite. My wife had breakfast there and they had a good selection of breakfast items and the food was good and healthy as well. We had an excellent experience at the hotel and Reykjavik. We would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Iceland!"
