"This place is very cute and stayed really warm during a winter storm which was so fun to experience. The heated bathroom floor and fireplace were much appreciated! In the winter this is not a gorgeous location as without the tree leaves you feel planted in the middle of a parking lot; however, the location allowed us the ability to get to shops and restaurants that stayed open during the snow, wind and very cold temperatures. "We have stayed in this pristine property many times and can’t wait to return. Rob’s house is exquisite—beautifully decorated in mid century modern decor and still so cozy! "This was a great place to stay. I can imagine that in the summer, folks who want to get on the river or sit around the fire pit would be so happy. We stayed when it snowed hard so we didn't do any outdoor activities. The owner was amazing. She attentive and responsive. The only issue we had was with the dogs in the neighborhood. There is a sign when one pulls onto the road that there are a bunch of dogs who live there, which isn't a problem if one isn't allergic to dogs. What we didn't expect...

"Lovely location! Easy access to Saugutuck and Douglas but secluded and so beautiful! We were so fortunate to be there during Sandhill crane migration (we stayed 10/23-10/27) and there were literally hundreds of cranes in the marsh by the river!! Unfortunately we were also there during duck hunting season so the peace and tranquility was a bit ruined each morning but gunshots and loud boats. The gunshots scared all the cranes away!
