"Captain's Cottage is super cute! The pictures really dont do it justice. We were a block from the beach. Snug Harbour and Noto's are a must for waterfront dining. Downtown had lots to offer as well and was walking distance to CC. We had to make a trip to Meijer...also very close...and was astonished at the cleanliness and upscale feel of this store. We had a great, although too short stay, at Captain's Cottage."

"All aspects of this property met our expectations except for the bedroom situation. The property is listed as 5 bedrooms, but only one bedroom (new addition) has full walls. The other 4 bedrooms have open rafter ceiling which makes each room connected as far as noise is concerned. If you are traveling with other couples, this may not be advantageous. That being said, the location is great and the view from the deck is lovely. Jay is also a very gracious host. "

" A group of us stayed here and absolutely loved the house and the property!! Host was communicative and understanding, house was clean. If you do not have a car just know you will need to carve out time to wait for Ubers/taxis! But this is worth it with the seclusion of the house :) would recommend to anyone! "This is a beautiful property and home right on Lake Michigan. Great views and sunsets especially from the lower deck. There was abundant space with a well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. More blankets would have been welcomed. Plastic wine glasses were a plus and having light dimmers was nice. There could be better lighting in the living room area and the deck levels could be better marked to prevent missteps. We found a few maintenance issues such as some mold in the bathrooms and a loose...

"We needed a quick, one-night stay with family and this was the perfect house. Super easy check-in, comfortable beds and clean. We loved the retro touches and the multiple places for guests to sit and enjoy the view. We also appreciated not having a huge cleaning fee and were happy to do a quick cleanup. Thanks for making this easy!"
